Somewhere along the way, sports became so much more than a game. They became a place to grow, a way to find community, a source of confidence, and a reminder of what is possible when someone believes in you.
In April 2027, I’ll take on the Boston Marathon for Dream Big, an organization helping girls access sports and opportunities that empower them to dream bigger. I’m running for every girl who deserves the chance to discover just how much she’s capable of.

From the Tennis Court to the Starting Line
If you had told a younger version of me that one day I’d be training to run 26.2 miles through the streets of Boston, she probably would have thought you were crazy. But she’d also be pretty excited.
Sports have been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Tennis taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and how to keep showing up even when things don’t go according to plan. As a student-athlete, a team captain, a coach, and now someone building a career in sports, I’ve seen firsthand how much the right opportunities and people can change a person’s life.
When I moved to Boston from a small town in North Carolina, I was starting over in a city where I barely knew anyone. Sports helped me find connection, build community, and create a life that feels like home.
Earlier in 2026, I took on my first half marathon. What started as a personal challenge became something bigger: a reminder that growth often begins when we decide to bet on ourselves.
Now, I’m doubling the distance and taking on the Boston Marathon. But this time, I’m running for something beyond myself.
Why Dream Big?
Growing up in a small town in North Carolina shaped the way I see opportunity. I’ve seen how access to resources, encouragement, and the right support can influence what young people believe is possible for themselves.
I know what sports have given me. The friendships. The confidence. The lessons in perseverance. The opportunities to lead, fail, learn, and try again. The feeling of being part of something bigger than myself.
Every girl deserves the chance to experience that, too.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Dream Big. Its mission to help girls from underserved communities participate in sports and physical activities is something I deeply believe in. A girl’s circumstances shouldn’t determine how far she can go, on the court, on the field, in the classroom, or in life.
My career has been built around creating meaningful experiences through sports and helping people feel welcome, included, and part of something special. Supporting Dream Big is a personal extension of that purpose.
I may not be able to change every girl’s circumstances, but I can help create more opportunities for girls to discover their potential.
And that’s a dream worth running for.
More Than a Marathon
Twenty-six point two miles is a long way to run. There will be early mornings, long training runs, tired legs, and plenty of moments when I’ll have to remind myself why I started.
But every mile will represent something bigger than a finish line.
It will represent the girls who deserve access to sports. The coaches and mentors who make a difference. The communities that show up for one another. And the belief that when we invest in girls, we’re investing in everything they can become.
I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon in support of a cause that means so much to me. If you’ve ever been impacted by sports, had someone believe in you, or been given an opportunity that changed your life, I hope you’ll join me in paying that forward.
Help Girls Dream Big
Every contribution helps support this mission. Whether you donate, share my fundraising page, or follow along on my marathon journey, you’re helping bring more opportunities within reach for girls.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for believing, as I do, that every girl deserves the opportunity to dream big.
Let’s make these miles matter.
